Episode 131: Asheville, NC

Asheville is a city in western North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains. It’s known for a vibrant arts scene and historic architecture, including the dome-topped Basilica of Saint Lawrence. The vast 19th-century Biltmore estate displays artwork by masters like Renoir. The Downtown Art District is filled with galleries and museums, and in the nearby River Arts District, former factory buildings house artists’ studios. There isn’t anybody who wouldn’t find things to love about Asheville; a foodie’s delight, and outdoors lover’s paradise, a golfer’s dream getaway, a great place to be pampered and rejuvenate your soul, a canvas just waiting to be photographed… and best of all there just isn’t a bad time of year to visit!

Episode 130: Disney’s Pandora

Seven years ago Disney announced that they were creating a new land at their Animal Kingdom park at Walt Disney World. At that time, Avatar was one of the biggest movies around. Fast forward to 2017, and there are some people who don’t remember that movie or who have never seen it! So why create a whole land around a movie that people don’t remember? Elizabeth & Robin recently went to a press event promoting the opening of Pandora coming in May, so they can help answer that for us.

Episode 129: Norwegian Epic

Special occasions are one of the best reasons to travel, and this past fall Outlander agent Sandy and her husband celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary with a few friends on a 7 night cruise. They sailed on the Norwegian Epic out of Port Canaveral, FL, and she is very excited to fill us in on some of the cool features of this ship, including current promos. special shows, water slides, and itineraries!

Carnival Cruise Lines has recently launched their most innovative ship yet – the Vista! Named for it’s sweeping ocean views, Carnival really upped the ante with this ship.
