From federal leader to travel advisor, Lori brings the same care and precision she used to guide national teams to crafting meaningful, stress-free journeys — one dream trip at a time.

After retiring from federal government leadership, where she led national teams, projects and programs, she spent a year traveling and reflecting on her next chapter before choosing travel advising as her ‘encore career’, to live her passion for travel and helping others create their dream vacations. Her previous career experience as well as specialties in customer experience and certified mediation, strengthened her ability to listen carefully, ask the right questions, and get to the root of what people truly want from their travels. Lori brings a thoughtful, calm, and solution-oriented approach that helps clients feel understood and confident from the very beginning of their planning through their travel experience.

Lori caught the travel bug when she and her daughter planned a trip for their family before “dropping off” her daughter for her study abroad in London. Together, they planned a two week trip over the Christmas and New Year holidays. Her favorite trip was her retirement trip with her family for over two weeks in Europe exploring 6 countries and 9 cities. Highlights included sipping bubbles on the Seine on her retirement day, getting to see the Eiffel tower lit up pink (or really purple), which only happens one day per year, taking the panorama car train through the Arlburg pass (Switzerland to Austria), and taking in everything Italy. These experiences shape the way she plans travel for others: with care, patience, detail and a genuine belief that, “it’s not just about the destination, it’s also about the journey”.

She is a travel advisor who specializes in creating meaningful, stress-free vacations tailored to each client’s unique travel style. Her strongest expertise is in European travel, where she’s planned multiple family trips across 4–7 countries at a time, focusing on medieval history, architecture, art and cultural immersion, and unforgettable rail journeys through scenic landscapes. She also brings firsthand experience with Caribbean islands and Mexico, where she’s long loved the beaches, clear blue water, and distinct cultural charm each destination offers.
