Spring Break is right around the corner and before you know it summer will be here! After the crazy 2020 we all just lived through we’re sure you’re wondering what summer travel will look like in 2021. Well, if past is any predication of the future, it will have changed between the time we record this and when it airs. But, we ARE the professionals, so we wanted to give you a best guess about what you can expect this year, and the kinds of things we see people booking. As our friend Danny likes to say, it helps to put some hope on the calendar.
So let’s get started!

I don’t know about you, but one of the key things this past twelve months has taught me is the importance of self-care and wellness. The other important thing it’s taught me is how much travel contributes to my self-care and wellness. So tonight, we wanted to talk about wellness travel, and we’ll highlight a destination that is, at the time we are recording, currently open for you to book right now!
With us tonight is Lisa Hollenberg to share a fairly new property in Mexico that is built all around wellness. Lisa is a Canadian living in the US and represents Palmaïa in Mexico! Previously a concierge, she has worked in hotel sales for approximately 21 years. And she is incredibly proud and excited to be working for such an innovative wellness-focused property!
We can’t wait to talk to her about it!

When the world shut down in March of 2020 for the global pandemic, few of us truly realized how long that would last. We’ve adapted: some of us picked up new habits like puzzles, some of us learned how to cook new things, some of us focused on family game nights. One trend that we hope sticks around is working from home. It turns out that a lot of jobs can be adapted to this, and even though we may be anxious to get back into the office, it looks like remote working will be here to stay in some form. That leads nicely to another trend we’re loving – working remotely from an awesome location! This week we want to spark your imagination and talk about some work locations that are sure to change your outlook!

We believe that travel inspiration can come from anywhere, even those “get to know you” games that make us groan when the boss breaks them out in the meeting room. We thought it would be fun to do a version of “Two Truths and a Lie” with a travel focus. This week we’ll see how well you know Paris!

We’ve all seen their commercials. Sandals always has beautiful beaches that look heavenly this time of year. When it’s cold and rainy outside and you see a tropical getaway, it makes you want to go asap. Don’t tell me I’m the only one! The Sandals brand is synonymous with excellent gourmet dining options, pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters and service beyond compare. Not to mention, their options for weddingmoons are extensive and lovely. Sandals Royal Caribbean in Jamaica is one of our favorites. They are one of the very few Caribbean destinations to sport Over-the-Water bungalows like you would see in the South Pacific. Now, you don’t have to travel halfway around the world to experience one for yourself.
Tonight we’ve brought a special guest, Outlander Travel’s own Aimee, to talk about her recent trip to Sandals Royal Caribbean.

One of the surprising benefits to this crazy year has been the recommendation that we go outside more. Combine that with the options for domestic travel, and it’s no wonder that National Parks have been so popular. Travel & Leisure recently published an article on Mistakes to Avoid when visiting and we couldn’t agree more, so we wanted to go through their suggestions and add a few of our own.
