When most people think of Hawaii, the island of Oahu is what comes to mind. Oahu is the 3rd largest of the Hawaiian islands and is the most populated. The capital of Honolulu is located here as well as world-famous Waikiki Beach. Our fellow agent, Stacey recently travelled to Oahu for her husband’s 60th birthday. Welcome back, Stacey!

We’re also excited to welcome back Anna. Recently, Anna and her daughter took a special trip to Walt Disney World before sending her off to college. It got us thinking! Several of us here have had children who have recently grown up and flew the coop. We thought it would be fun to talk about why you might want to plan a trip like this for your recent grad, and think of some ways to make it special.

In the mid-1800s, Park City was established as a silver mining town and the influences of that history can still be seen today. Looking like an old western movie set, Main Street is filled with galleries, shops and restaurants. Not to mention the fantastic peaks that surround the town. Donna went to Utah in the shoulder season of September and is here tonight to tell us about her adventures.
Everyone who studied ancient civilizations knows a little something about the Ancient Egyptians. They built The Pyramids. They had hieroglyphics that was their written language that decorated their temples and tombs. They invented “paper” or papyrus. Egypt is one of those places that are on most people’s Top 5 or Top 10 Destination Lists. Donna was able to join Ama Waterways on a Nile River cruise with pre- and post- stays in Cairo.
