Episode 92: Disney’s Aulani and O’ahu

This week we are excited to welcome Lily Mendoza to the show. Disney’s Aulani Resort is located on the island of O’ahu. It opened in 2011 and showcases the Hawaiian culture and beauty while throwing in what we like to call the “Disney difference”. Lily is here to help us paint a picture for you of what makes this resort unique. And since we can’t go all the way to Hawaii and not explore, we will also let you know what other treats await you on this island paradise, so let’s get started!
Want to visit this tropical paradise? Let us know, we can help! And for those of us of a certain age who grew up with Greg, Marsha, Peter et al…remember when they went to Hawaii on The Brady Bunch? Here’s a fun map of the Brady Hawaii “locations” – just for fun!

Episode 65: Hawai’i – The Big Island

Hawaii is the 8th-smallest and the 11th-least populous, but the 13th-most densely populated of the fifty U.S. states. It is made up of many many islands spread over about 1500 miles. But most people know Hawaii as the eight main islands and the very southeastern end of the archipelago. In order from northern most to southernmost, those islands are  NiʻihauKauaʻiOʻahuMolokaʻiLānaʻiKahoʻolaweMaui and the Island of Hawaiʻi. Today, we want to focus on the Big Island of Hawaii. But don’t worry, we have plans to talk about other islands in future episodes. But for now…let’s talk about waterfalls, hiking, ziplining, snorkeling, coffee, and beer.

Do you love the Big Island?
