This week we are excited to welcome Lily Mendoza to the show, our Disney Destinations Representative. We’re huge fans of Adventures by Disney on this podcast. In Episode 79 we took you into Central America to visit Costa Rica, and way back in Episode 45 we talked to some clients who had just experienced the castles in Germany. This week Lily is eager to share with us her family’s recent experience in Central Europe, so let’s get started!

Episode 89: Colorado in Summer
Back in Episode 39 we filled you in on all of the different ski options that Colorado has to offer. Well, we would be remiss if we didn’t take you back to this awesome state in summer and share some other must-do experiences. Home to Pike’s Peak, Rocky Mountain National Park, and the Garden of the Gods, to name a few, Colorado has something to offer every traveler. And did we fail to mention breweries? Elizabeth has recently returned from a weekend getaway primarily in Loveland and Fort Collins and she’s eager to share what she learned!

Episode 87: Traveling Through Reading and Reading to Travel
This week Outlander Travel is embracing it’s literary roots. You may remember me referring to my “previous life” as a librarian. This week I’ve invited some of my literary-minded, librarian “squad” to discuss how books can inspire travel, and how we can help you create itineraries that allow you to visit some of your favorite settings. Janet has worked for over 20 years as a librarian. During that time she has had various roles; she has led books clubs, answered reference questions, helped children with their schoolwork and recommended books for purchase. And then there’s her favorite task, helping people find a good book to read. Dan has worked connecting people and books for over twenty years in both bookstores and public libraries. He is the Adult Services Manager at our local library system and he co-manages programs for the library system around recreational reading, including author visits.
Books and travel go together perfectly. Listen in and discover some great ideas and resources for your vacation reads. Travel to Ireland through the novels of Maeve Binchy…Eat, Pray and Love around the world…explore the south of Pat Conroy…when we travel by book, the choices are endless!

Episode 86: What’s Up with TSA?
You may have noticed recent stories in the news about long lines at airports. I’m talking really really long lines! There were even reports in May of travelers having to spend the night at the airport in Chicago because flights were missed. So what’s up with TSA? This week we wanted to talk about some reasons for the wait, and some things you can do as a passenger to keep the effects to a minimum.
Do you have a TSA experience you’d like to share? Leave us a comment.

Episode 85: Puerto Rico
Puerto Rico is an attractive destination to US travelers because you don’t need a passport to travel there. A US territory, it uses the US Dollar and English is spoken everywhere. This island has something to offer everyone: white sand beaches, rainforest, coffee plantations, eco tourism, and water sports, just to name a few! Lindsay and Sandy were just in San Juan for a convention and they have a lot of exciting experiences to share with us.
Have you been to Puerto Rico? Would you like to visit?
