If you’ve done any travelling (which we have extensively here at Fly Away), you have slept in your fair share of hotels and cruise lines. Occasionally, we will stay somewhere and think to ourselves, “That is ingenious! I have to have it!” Tonight we are talking about those little things that make our stay better and then we turn around and have to buy it for ourselves.

We talk a lot on this podcast about Bucket List Destinations or Living list Destinations- places and experience is so incredible that we all dream of seeing and experiencing them one day. With it’s grand cultural history, epic monuments, and breathtaking views both above and below water- it is not hard to imagine why Egypt has earned a spot on so many lists.
Recently Lindsay had the opportunity to revisit this incredible destination—

We’re happy to welcome back to the podcast Stacey from Outlander Travel! Recently several of our agents visited Aruba on a cruise, but Stacey was lucky enough to go back and really take some time to get to know the island on vacation, and she’s here to tell us all about it.

Norwegian Cruise Line has several smaller ships that tend to do more unusual itineraries with smaller ports. The great thing about being on a smaller ocean liner is that you can enter ports that are not able to service the larger ships in the fleet. This can get you into some great destinations. Sandy and Donna were able to experience Norwegian’s “smaller” ships and are here to tell us about the experience.

In June of 2022, Carnival cruise line announced that it would be acquiring the Venezia and Firenze ships from its sister company Costa Cruises. In September, Donna was able to go on this “new” Carnival ship for a Canadian adventure out of the Manhattan Cruise Terminal.

When she was launched in September 2007 she was the largest cruise ship in the world. She’s 1,112 ft long, has 15 decks and is 155,889 gross tons. Have you figured it out? That’s right, it’s Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas! Outlander Agent Nitra had the opportunity to attend a Seminar at Sea aboard her and is here to tell us all about it!

Lindsay isn’t here tonight, but she is credited with coining one of our favorite phrases – “We travel poorly so you don’t have to!” Aimee was the latest to test this out when she forgot her passport for our conference cruise. You may be wondering what happens in that situation and what options you have. Well, we’re here to tell you all about it.
