Royal Caribbean is a favorite of us here at Outlander Travel. Donna took her family on an Alaskan cruise this summer on the Quantum of the Seas. From the port of Seattle through the Inside passage, this cruise is dubbed “The Alaska Starter Kit.” Once you experience Alaska, you will definitely want to come back. Donna has been to Alaska 3 times, but this was her famiIy’s first trip to the Last Frontier.

This week we’re visiting two of our favorite things – Alaska and Holland America! Holland America Line is celebrating their 75th year in Alaska – they’ve been sailing there longer than Alaska has been a state. Recently, Lindsay and Sandy were able to sail with them again, this time on the Koningsdam, a Pinnacle Class ship. They’re here to tell us all about it.

After 6 years of being at Outlander Travel, Donna FINALLY gets to have an episode dedicated to her hometown. San Antonio is where she grew up and it is a lively town, full of historical and cultural attractions. You can get lost in the museums or stroll through UNESCO world heritage sites. We can’t forget that there is some of the best food on the planet. Of course, she’s a little biased. So tonight, we are going to play Two Truths and a Lie for her hometown, San Antonio, Texas.

The Lower Danube is a place that most Americans have never seen. It is located in the former Soviet bloc and the marks of the Soviet Union are hard to erase. Made up of Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia and Hungary, this is the area of the Lower Danube. Here, you get a glimpse of the charm and simplicity of Eastern Europe. As it was before the commercialism of Western Europe seeped in. The world is starting to take notice of this hidden gem. When you go there, you will be in for a few surprises.
